Apple has made a move that no one would ever expect. From technology music, streams, bank card,… to hotels.
Apple is building a 192-room hotel to it’s $1 billion corporate campus in Northwest Austin.
The new plan was approved by the City of Austin on April 29. The map reveals a 75,000 square foot, six story hotel, including offices and parking garages. Apple’s second Austin campus will be totally three million square feet big which makes it the world’s largest office building.
“Apple is a trendsetter in so many ways. It’s proposed hotel as part of its new Austin campus is another example of it being ahead of the curve,” John Boyd Jr., principal of Princeton firm The Boyd Co. Inc., explained.
Boyd Jr. also assume that after COVID-19, corporate world will look much more different and we can expect to see more of this concept in the future, especially from tech giants like Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and more.
