It’s been just over a month since the unexpected loss of rising Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke. His murder occurred just weeks after his sophomore effort Meet The Woo 2 released, a project that tapped some of hip-hop’s biggest and brightest stars for features. After Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White International Rap Video Production Studio helmed the visual for “Shake The Room” featuring Quavo late last week, Pop Smoke’s team has surprised the music world with a new single “How We Move.” The track even features an uncredited verse from fellow New York rapper Dave East.

“How We Move” is the archetypal street anthem, with Pop Smoke chanting to free his friends currently locked up. There aren’t any hints as to when this song was produced, and with no social media rollout or hints by either artist’s camp, the new single comes as a complete surprise. An upcoming posthumous Pop Smoke record following Meet The Woo 2 has yet to be confirmed, but 50 Cent has already volunteered to executive produce, recruiting Roddy Ricch, Drake and more for possible features.

Listen to Pop Smoke’s new posthumous single below and stay tuned for more updates as it gets added to all streaming services. In more music news, Young Thug and Gunna connected with producer Turbo for the new self-isolation inspired “Quarantine Clean.”
